I won’t attend your wedding, I’m not aware of it – Femi Fani-Kayode tells daughter


A former Minister of Aviation and spokesperson for former President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign team, Femi Fani-Kayode, has distanced himself from the wedding ceremony of one of his daughters, (name withheld) which comes up next Sunday in Lagos.
Fani-Kayode made this known in Lagos shortly after he was discharged and acquitted by the Lagos High Court on money laundry case filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
In a statement released today, the former minister said: “Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has washed off his hands from a wedding ceremony of his daughters, (name withheld) which comes up next Sunday in Lagos. Fani-Kayode made this known in Lagos in response to a question on the marriage, shortly after he was EFCC). He said, “I wont attend the wedding, am not aware of it and I did not give my approval”.
The bride to be is a daughter to Fani-Kayode’s first wife, Yemisi Wada, who is a daughter to the former governor of old Kwara State, Adamu Attah
One of his daughters, Temitope Fani-Kayode is engaged to Jaiye Randle, son of Bashorun JK Randle. They had their introduction on January 22nd 2015 and Mr. Fani-Kayode was not at the ceremony.
